Making our Churches a "House of Prayer" Conference
In our Destiny Affirmation (see back of letter), we are reminded of why and who God has called us to be as His church: a house & people of prayer, praise, proclamation, pedagogy (teaching/ learning), purpose, power, & a place for all peoples. In light of this, as a part our church’s 31st Anniversary, we will be hosting a Saturday conference, Making Our Churches a “House of Prayer,” on July 20, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM., with registration at 11:30 AM.
The purpose of this 3-hour workshop equip and edify the body of Christ through praise, prayer, pedagogy, as the "priesthood of all believers" to be a Revelation 7:9 church, evangelizing the world. After praise & worship, there will be three ½ hour sessions, culminating with a featured special session by Dr. Robert Smith, Jr. –world-renowned preacher, E.K. Baily Living Legend award winner, and recently retired professor of preaching at Beeson Divinity School.
